Sorry maar dat snap ik niet.
Het is toch makkelijker werken als je ze alle twee 100 gram maakt?
When we make a new item, we need to apply the CE. The factory will give us samples according to our requirements, which we also cut, check the powderweight etc.
According to the initial samples, the powderweight was around 97g, so we applied CE with 100g to make it a round number and arranged labels accordingly.
Just in production we figured out, that this powderweight could not be achieved once made in mass production - only at the samples made by hand.
We had some difficulties to get it constant over 80g (we achieved something like 82-85g in the end). The tolerance in the CE is +/-20% for items over 15g, so with our CE certificate stating 100g, a range from 80-120g would be allowed - that means, if one piece would be under 80g, this item would be taken from the market in case it is tested and something like this would be found.
Many people might never have thought about this issue, but also too less powder would be a reason to take one item from the market. Everything which is to different from the size and powderweight that are stated in the technical datasheets will - once found - lead to the item being banned from sales.
During the batchtest, these things are not checked, but in europe, some countries (like NL) do it from time to time.
We also check those things, mainly to maintain our quality, but also to be able to avoid such problems upfront.
We produced the version for polish / german market first, where we found this problem.
In order to be sure it won´t be a problem in the future, in case the factory maybe has some pieces a little under 80g which we could not find in our own quality control, we made a new CE certificate with only 80g written on the label, so we are always on the safe side.
The product was produced exactly the same with both versions of the CE, no matter if 80g or 100g is written on the label. They should all have ca. 80-85g.
And the new ones for german market will also have 80g written on the label, the old CE will not be used anymore.
