Here my video from our national day (1.August). We had different cakes, shells (up to 150mm) and other stuff.
The video isn't the best quality, because I filmed with my little cam. Only the little fireworks-display and the mascleta at the end was filmed with my big cam. Sorry for the wind noise.

Great footage from Zwitserland, many thanks for sharing this with us! :D
I think you enjoyed it very much, can you tell us something more about your experience at this day?

Thanks a lot man!

Thanks a lot man!

Great & Original fireworks!
Considering the budget I'd say your village chipped in a considerable amount of money as well?
Did you need a license or anything for this, or was it just: Fire ahead!
Greaat stuff!

Sorry my english isn't good but i'll try it.

License? Not yet. 2013, we have to do a little license to ignite Class 4 products. But everybody can do this.

We were three "fanatics" who made this evening to a real 1.August evening :D
We had sunshine, 30°C, steaks (thanks to Timos family), sausages, beer (not too much) and of course a lot of fireworks. We spend several tousend francs...
A lot of shells (100mm) were from PyroArt. The 100&150mm Cylinders were italian and spanish products. But my favourite is the "Turbosalut" (at the beginning in the video), this thing is massiv and makes a lot of terror  Next year or silvester, 5 from this Turbos and i'd be happy.

A little tip from me: Come to Switzerland! Summer, mountains and fireworks, what a great combination.

nice setup,

which classifications of fireworks are foreign consumers allowed to buy in Switzerland? Is it allowed to light fireworks all year round?

greetings,

Sounds like a great country indeed!
I'm sure to celebrate 1st of August these at some point the coming years.

The Turbosalut. I can't find any information on it. Is it a mine (3 or 4") or is it a battery that shoots it load at once?
And what's the price for these babies in Helvetia?

KR, heartworm

greetings,

You can buy everything! But more and more shops don't sell Class 4 products (shells, big cakes...) to inexperienced costumers! 2013, we have to do a little license (1 day or 1 week) to ignite class 4 products. If you do this license, its no problem to buy class 4. The first seminar starts probably in spring 2010. And no, its not allowed to light up fireworks all year round. Only on 31. December and 1.August. In some cantons (provinces) its allowed on 31.July too.

Sounds like a great country indeed!
