Malta International Fireworks Festival 2010

No, it was my second time in Malta. Last year I was in Qrendi and Mqabba during the Santa Maria Feast.

The "Malta International Fireworks Festival 2010" was good, but not more! You see better fireworks during the religious festas in the small villages.

You say we can see better fireworks in the villages during various religious festas, but can you tell us when these festas take place? I believe I've read somewhere that the whole month of August is a very interesting period for us as firework freaks...

For the Dutch readers/voor de NL lezers:

Zijn dit soort fantastisch uitgewerkte shells (qua vormen, multi-stage e.d.) ook dichter in de buurt te bewonderen, of alleen daar in Malta en omstreken?
 
Ik heb een paar van deze feesten mogen meemaken op Malta in de zomer van 2010 tijdens de zomervakantie. Het was trouwens niet het internationale festival.
Echt fantastische shells die daar geschoten worden.
Ben o.a. in St. julians bay geweest naar een dorpsfeest. Als je een beetje slim wandelt door de straatjes sta je zo met je neus onder de shells. En dan te bedenken dat bijna elk groot dorp zo'n feest geeft in juli/augustus.
Ik zal in loop van de week wel een paar filmpjes posten.
Het gaat hier niet om het internationale feesten
