Ik las vandaag in het AD een klein artikeltje over een explosie in een Italiaanse vuurwerkfabriek. Ik kon het zo snel niet vinden op de site van het AD zelf. Dus hier het engelse artikel van Persbureau United Press International:
ROME, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Four members of a family were killed and a fifth injured Wednesday in an explosion at their fireworks factory in Italy, authorities said
Killed in the blast at the factory in Castiglione in Teverina on the Lazio-Umbria border, were owner Renato Cignelli, his wife and two other family members; a fifth family member was hospitalized with serious burns, the Italian news agency ANSA reported. The cause of the explosion hadn't been determined.
''It's incredible that such serious accidents are still happening, especially in factories producing explosives which should have special checks,'' Giampaolo Patta, head of workplace safety for the government, told ANSA.
Italy had two fatal fireworks factory explosions last year, with three people dying in one in Gragnano and two dying and 32 injured in a blast in Piane di Montegiorgio.
