Although the 8-shot Roman candles with gold fountain are still available, the mixed pack has long been sold out, and here's another restock.The new batch is similar to the old one. A good item, but with the same limitations – the work intense manufacturing process results in a high price, and the delay between individual shots isn't as precise due to technical reasons. The colors still don't burn as cleanly (leaving a small trail of residue behind them) and need to be optimized.
The factory, however, no longer has a license and needs to completely renew it, which will take time, so we were only able to reproduce as much as possible at the level of the first batch. It's a fairly old factory in Guangxi that used to be very large, consisting of two parts at opposite ends of a small town, and produced many popular fireworks for the European market. There isn't much left of it for a long time, and one of the two parts was shut down long ago. Old production buildings were converted into residential quarters and partly into a restaurant, etc.However, the warehouses for finished products were still located at the edge of this part of the factory. But now, the landowner wants to establish a new company here that has nothing to do with fireworks, which is why the warehouse buildings are being demolished. However, these are essential for a factory license. Therefore, new warehouse buildings must now be built in the remaining part of the factory and a new license must be applied for, or the factory would be shut down. I don't know how long this will all take. I am supporting the factory in this effort to avoid permanently losing many items, such as these classic Roman candles, the Python series, our Crossette batteries, and many ideas that have not yet been realized.Consequently, it will now take some time before production of these items can continue. As soon as the time is right, I will try to implement improvements for the next batch, especially the use of the formulas for the color stars, which I also use in our own factory.
