The event will take place on March 29, 2008! Again hosted by La Mancha Pyro Productions. The event will still be held in the philippines, Behind the famous Mall of Asia, Nowadays this place behind Mall of asia is called the Esplanade or San Miguel by the bay! The fireworks are fired from a barge in the manila bay! And yes some of the competitors use water fireworks! LOL

Normal Tickets will be sold at Php100.00 Approximately 2.50 U.S. Dollars only, I'm not sure if they would still sell vip and special viewing area tickets! But last year there were tickets for Php500.00, about 12.20 U.S. dollars and Php1,300.00, about 32.00 U.S. dollars!

*Each show lasts about 20 mintues
 
I think this is a too late update but nevermind! :D
This past month i've seen the only international fireworks competition here in the philippines called World Pyro Olympics. The first two days had a lot of rain and lightning but all the shows still pushed through! :D The schedule was:
May 3-
Germany - Nico-Lunig
China - Glorious Group

May 10 -
Canada- Pyrostudios (patrice guy)
France - Fetes Et Feux

May 24 -
Venezuela - Venefuegos
Italy - Parente fireworks

May 31 -
All participating countries
Philippines exhibition - La Mancha Pyro Productions Hollywood themed pyromusical

that was a very nice line up with fetes & feux (Party & Fire :p ), Parente and Nico! Who won the competition?
