    Canada - Montréal - L'International Des Feux Loto-Quebec 2009

    Alweer de 25e editie van een van de meest prestigeuse vuurwerkfestivals ter wereld. Het internationaal vuurwerkfestival Montreal. Hieronder de line-up van de 25e Jubileum editie:

    13 Juni: Panzera SAS - Italie - Opening (buiten competitie)
    20 Juni: Pirotecnia Igual S.A - Spanje
    27 Juni: Pains Fireworks - Groot Brittanie

    4 Juli: Foti Fireworks - Australie
    11 Juli: Pyromagic Productions LTD - Hong Kong China
    18 Juli: Fuegos Jupiter - Argentinie
    25 Juli: Royal Pyrotechnie - Canada

    1 augustus: Melrose Pyrotechnics - Verenigde Staten
    8 augustus: Fireworks for Africa - Zuid Afrika
    15 augustus: La Ronde - slotvuurwerk - Homage aan Cirque du Soleil (buiten competitie)

    Een prachtige line up met leuke bedrijven erop dacht ik zo! Ik kijk met name uit naar Jupiter, igual en Foti. Van een van deze 3 zouden wel eens met de Golden Jupiter kunnen gaan lopen.

        Iemand die hierheen gaat ? Lijtk me wel tof om te zien jammer dat er zoveel tijd ertussen zit per show anders kon je er mooi heen op vakantie iemand enig idee van caliber ?

                Montreal Fireworks Finale - Spain 2009

                Hi guys

                This is a video of the Spanish display, represented by the infamous Pirotecnia Igual, that started off the 2009 fireworks season here in Montreal. The finale starts at about 3 minutes into the video, and I think you guys will find it pretty cool, though ending a little abruptly. However, this was a great display, overall, from the Spanish team and I enjoyed it very much. The show was titled "The Odyssey" and served to stimulate our imagination by taking the audience on a East-West trip through various lands, and therefore exposing us briefly to different cultures in the process, starting in Barcelona, Spain, and ending in Montreal as the final destination.

                  Ik kan het niet helpen dat ik in de omschrijving INfamous Pirotecnia Igual zie staan haha....
                  Zo onbekend is die daar nmijn mening niet...
                  En de show ziet er erg goed uit!
                  Echt Igual stijl .. goud... heerlijk!!
                  En leuke combinatie van muziek!
                  En in tegenstelling tot de omschrijving WAT EEN TOPFINALE!!!!

                      A very interesting segment from Pirotècnia Igual's fireworks display on June 20th, 2009 as part of the 25th annual International des Feux Lotto Quebec (Montreal International Fireworks Competition).

                      In this sequence, the imagined 'ship' is attacked by pirates between the Caribbean and United States.

                      Titled The Odyssey, this dazzling show will transport spectators from Catalonia's capital to Quebec's metropolis in just half an hour, not by way of the space shuttle Endeavour, but through the power of the imagination. The light-and-sound craft that will carry spectators will not follow an east-west itinerary; instead, it will travel east and provide spectators with a wealth of sights and sounds and moods from many different lands.

                      Naturally, in the first part of the journey, we will discover the colours of Spain then, there will be stops in Egypt, India, China, and Japan before alighting on the coasts of Argentina, Brazil, and Cuba to name but a few of the destinations. Be warned, says Pirotècnia Igual, The Odyssey is full of unexpected adventure and sudden storms. And while the theme is global, as befits a journey around the world, Pirotècnia Igual's performance is truly Spanish, featuring colossal set pieces with numerous and surprising shifts in tone and rhythm.

                      The music for this segment is "Navras" by Juno Reactor and is from the original soundtrack of the film "Matrix Revolutions."

                            Gisteren heeft Pains Fireworks hun show geschoten op het festival van Montreal. Hier heb ik wat beelden van gevonden.

                            De poster van de eerste video heeft aangegeven dat er nog meer delen komen. Ik denk dat we de show dan in zijn geheel te zien krijgen. Alsnog heb ik 2 andere filmpjes er bij gevonden. Ik weet alleen niet van welke gedeelte in de show die zijn.
